Overview: The wilderness retreat is located on Stewart Lake, 50 km north of Watson Lake. The lake is roughly 9 km long with many arms and bays and only accessible by floatplane. The main log lodge features two bedrooms, a “Yukon”-shower, WC, fridge, freezer, kitchen and a huge deck. There are two additional log cabins that can accommodate four people each. The cabins are well equipped and have a kitchen, wood stove and outhouse. In the evening sit around the “Yukon” stove or try the comfort of the sauna. Enjoy the glorious view over the lake and listen to the cry of the loon. One cannot even start to describe the fascinating wilderness.

During your stay you can structure your own individual adventure trips. Stewart Lake offers excellent Lake Trout, Grayling, Northern Pike, Lake Whitefish and Burbot fishing. Good size fish are available from May to September. Explore the lake and the creeks by canoe, go sailing, swimming, wildlife viewing and enjoy the sauna in the evening. Guests also can go on hikes on one of the ancient trails hidden in the bush.  From the middle of June to the end of July temperatures are very pleasant from 18 degrees Celsius up to 30 degrees Celsius. From August on the temperatures start dropping and the first frosts can occur during the nights. The lake maintains a temperature of 19 to 21 degrees Celsius throughout the summer. Food and beverage are not included in the price. All basic food are available in the camp.
