The Lodge is located on shores of Lake Clark within the Lake Clark National Park, 160 air miles southwest of Anchorage. Overnight accommodation in deluxe guest cabins featuring full bath, kitchen facilities, TV/VCR, heating and a dramatic scenery of the Alaska Mountain Range and Lake Clark with its blue glacier fed waters. Freshly prepared meals with vegetables straight from the garden are served in the sunny solarium dining room. En route your flight from Anchorage will take you through the famous Lake Clark Pass. During the flight viewing a series of active volcanos, glaciers, and a variety of wildlife is possible.
50 miles long, Lake Clark comprises of several types of fish, arctic char, grayling, dolly varden, northern pike, lake trout, rainbow trout and five species of salmon. It is noted as one of the most important spawning grounds for the world's largest sockeye salmon. During you stay you enjoy guided fishing with one of the boats on Lake Clark and fly-outs to the Bristol Bay watershed and Iliamna Lake areas. On the fly-outs two or three different fishing locations may be approached until the “hot spot” is found. The aircraft stays all day long with the client. Affordable and personalized, these deluxe fly out fishing packages cater to details that are lost at most larger commercial lodges. We limit our number of fly out fishing guests to four per week. |
