Hi, I`ve just got home in Seattle from Alaska, and it`s so early in the morning, 6am. I just would like to thank you for a wonderful trip. We really enjoyed our stay in Chena Hotsprings, and all staffs were so kind, and attractions were awesome. I`ve never experienced such a chilly temperature before, and I even enjoyed it. I could see the northern lights twice during 3 nights stay. It`s nice, isn`t it? We also went to University of Alaska museum and that was impressive to me so much. Thanks for your advice. Der Reiseablauf hat uns sehr gefallen: Zuerst die Fahrt mit dem Zug mit den vielen Landschaftseindruecken, dann Fairbanks, wo wir das Museum besuchten, dann der Flug nach Whitewater und die Goldgeschichte, die Fahrt mit Bus und Oldtimer-Eisenbahn nach Skagway – alles sehr erlebnisreich. In Skagway fanden wir noch einen Piloten, der uns ueber die Glacier Bay und rund um den Mt. Fairweather flog. Und dann die Alsek-River-Fahrt: da brauche ich wohl nicht viel zu schreiben. Die River-Guides waren sehr professionell, die Organisation routiniert und sicher, das Wissen der Guides ueber Geologie, Pflanzen und Tiere habe ich sehr geschaetzt. Vielen Dank nochmals. Ich wuerde mich gerne wieder an Sie wenden, wenn wir in der Region eine Reise planen (so z.B. Heliskiing in Alaska oder eine Reise in Kanada/Alaska mit Wasserflugzeugen und Unterkuenften in Lodges). Just for future reference if you book anyone in to the McCarthy Lodge insist that they do not have room 17 as it is the smallest double room you can imagine, it only just fits a bed in to it.
