4 Hour Denali National Park Heli Hiking Tour
Helicopter Hiking Tour from Talkeetna or Denali Village
TOUR ITINERARY
Depart from our heliport overlooking the beautiful Nenana River for the popular Heli Hiking Adventure. Travel along the spine of the Alaska Range through the unexplored mountainous backcountry of towering peaks and ancient glaciers in search of majestic Mt. McKinley. We follow the Yanert and Moody River Valley east to the base of 13,500-foot Mt. Deborah. Located just outside the Denali National Park boundaries, our hiking area offers unlimited rolling hills, tundra ridgelines, and spectacular vistas of Mt. McKinley. Personally guided by a local naturalist guide, you are dropped off after a short helicopter flight to the open wilderness of Alaska's backcountry. There you and your guide will spend the day interpreting the flora and fauna of the area and possibly view wildlife in its natural habitat. Limited to small groups under 12, your customized tour will leave you with a new appreciation for Alaska.

Naturalist Guide
Our local Alaskan naturalist guides have extensive training in first aid and wilderness safety and survival skills. They are also knowledgeable on the wildlife and plant life of the Denali area.
